The idea of ​​an external imposition that cleanses the digital ecosystem by administrative mandate ignores the fallible and impaired condition of modern institutions. When public structures have turned their backs on the principles of moral order that founded our civilization, any surveillance body created to audit machines will inevitably end up being an extension of the ideological discretion of its members. In this way, the supposed human supervision invoked in international documents runs the indisputable risk of becoming a bureaucratic and selective censorship, designed not to protect free and rational debate, but to standardize the thinking of the masses to the mold of the dominant consensus.
