Editorial manifesto

Editorial Santa Jacinta is an independent digital newspaper of geopolitical, scientific and philosophical analysis. Our commitment is to objective truth, knowable through right reason and independent of human will. In a media landscape saturated with superficiality, the manipulation of language and the imposition of agendas, we set out to offer journalism of absolute depth: every article carries the length and the rigour of a doctoral thesis.

We oppose scientistic reductionism, which would reduce the human being to a biological automaton stripped of free will, intellect or transcendent nature. We call out those who usurp the prestige of science in order to impose ideologies, from sociological theories that attempt to deconstruct biology and the natural family to pseudosciences presented as inviolable consensus. That the hard sciences have not pronounced on a proposition makes it neither false nor true; to confuse those two planes is an act of intellectual tyranny this paper exists to expose.

Our intellectual armour is forged in the classical realism of Aristotle, the moral wisdom of Seneca, the eloquence of Cicero and the habit of examining premises before conclusions. We defend natural law, the inviolable dignity of every human person and the family as the basic cell of society. We recognise the mechanisms of social engineering, the psychological manipulation of populations and the rhetorical tactics that operate in plain sight within transnational bureaucratic superstructures.

We do not fight with sentimentality, hollow indignation or fleeting party slogans. Our pen distils love of neighbour, because every human being is a treasure, and active hope against civilisational pessimism. We forbid sarcasm, irony and mockery. Our tone is friendly and close, grounded in the pure philology of the Spanish language, with the depth of those who have spent decades forming themselves in the great traditions of Western thought.

Doctor of Philosophy. Journalist, graduate in Communication and philologist of the Spanish language. Orchestrator of the editorial line and guardian of the logical integrity of every publication. His role is to coordinate the team with rigour and exacting standards, signing the front-page editorials and holding to the criterion that no argument is ever accepted on authority alone.

Dra. María Victoria Ibáñez-Soto

Chief Editor: Science and Bioethics

Journalist, graduate in Communication and philologist of the Spanish language. Graduate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Neuroscience. Doctor in contemporary Quantum Physics, Doctor in Astrophysics and Doctor in Philosophy of Science. Her intellectual inspiration is the astrophysicist Manuel Carreira. Able to draw with precision the boundary between what science can assert and what exceeds its method, her pen refutes materialist reductionism with empirical rigour and a love of objective truth.

Lic. Juan Pablo Torres-Lozano

Chief Editor: Geopolitics and Society

Journalist, graduate in Communication and philologist of the Spanish language. Graduate in Anthropology, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy of Language, Aesthetics and Neurolinguistic Programming. Doctor in Classical Political Philosophy. He identifies the mechanisms of mass manipulation and social engineering through classical anthropology, explaining reality in a tone that is forceful, cultivated and friendly.
