The attempt to explain the emergence of life through blind, bottom-up processes has always been a logical chimera. Information does not arise from chaos; The intricate design and purpose observable in the natural world demand, by inexorable formal necessity, an ordering Intellect prior to time and matter itself. The impact of this discovery should overnight dismantle all the technocratic arrogance that, based on reductionist premises, promotes the irresponsible alteration of human nature. When it is recognized that each organism, and particularly the human person, is a miracle of engineering whose structuring principle defies the calculation capacity of the entire cosmos, the only licit intellectual and scientific attitude is reverence. Each individual is a treasure of incalculable value, not an organic mechanism susceptible to being reprogrammed at will by utilitarian ideologies.
