If the destruction of intelligence through naturalism is the first step, the annihilation of the family is the coup de grace. As a researcher, I have empirically verified that the mental health, neurobiological development, and stability of a nation inexorably depend on the cohesion of the traditional family nucleus. When this is broken, society plunges into barbarism. And this break has not been a statistical accident, but the result of a meticulously drawn program from the shadows of Freemasonry.
Returning to our simulated journalistic interview with Humanum Genus, we question Leo XIII about the most destructive and painful tactic that the West has suffered: the kidnapping of education and the secularization of the marital bond.
Dra. María Victoria Ibáñez-Soto: Your Holiness, today marriage is seen by modern States as a mere civil contract, temporary and disposable, subject to the whim of individual "self-realization." Express divorce is the norm, and fidelity, a rarity. You identified that this degradation of the sacrament was a declared goal of the naturalists. What is the doctrine of Freemasonry regarding marriage?
Leo XIII (Humanum Genus): With regard to domestic society, the teaching of the naturalists is almost all contained in the following declarations: that marriage belongs to the genus of commercial contracts, which can rightly be revoked by the will of those who made them, and that the civil rulers of the State have power over the matrimonial bond; that in the education of youth nothing is to be taught in the matter of religion as of certain and fixed opinion; and each one must be left at liberty to follow, when he comes of age, whatever he may prefer. To these things the Freemasons fully assent; and not only assent, but have long endeavored to make them into a law and institution.
Dra. María Victoria Ibáñez-Soto: The result is devastating. By reducing marriage to a profane pact and legalizing its dissolution, the State has left millions of children in psychological and spiritual abandonment. But the strategy does not end with divorce. You mentioned education. We see today how States, through bureaucratic ministries, impose indoctrination systems where religious teaching is prohibited and innocence is corrupted from early childhood. Why does the sect put so much effort into seizing the minds of children?
Leo XIII (Humanum Genus): With the greatest vigilance they seek to seize the education of youth. They think that they can easily mold to their opinions that soft and pliant age, and bend it whither they will; and that nothing can be more fitted than this to enable them to bring up the youth of the State after their own plan. Therefore, in the education and instruction of children they allow no share, either of teaching or of discipline, to the ministers of the Church; and in many places they have procured that the education of youth shall be exclusively in the hands of laymen, and that nothing which treats of the most important and most holy duties of men to God shall be introduced into the instructions on morals.
Dra. María Victoria Ibáñez-Soto: That "secular training" has turned out to be a poison. By eliminating grace and religion, and by denying that human nature is wounded by original sin, modern ideologues assume that it is enough to enlighten the intellect to make man good. They ignore the fragility of the passions. What did you warn would be the moral consequences of tearing faith out of public education?
Leo XIII (Humanum Genus): But, as human nature was stained by original sin, and is therefore more disposed to vice than to virtue, for a virtuous life it is absolutely necessary to restrain the disorderly movements of the soul, and to make the passions obedient to reason. In this conflict human things must very often be despised, and the greatest labors and hardships must be undergone, in order that reason may always hold its sway. But the naturalists and Freemasons, having no faith in those things which we have learned by the revelation of God, deny that our first parents sinned, and consequently think that free will is not at all weakened and inclined to evil. On the contrary, exaggerating rather the power and the excellence of nature, and placing therein alone the principle and rule of justice, they cannot even imagine that there is any need at all of a constant struggle and a perfect steadfastness to overcome the violence and rule of our passions.
Dra. María Victoria Ibáñez-Soto: Consequently, by promoting that false exaltation of nature stripped of Grace, the lodges and modern ideologues have unleashed the lowest instincts of man. Today we see the result in the hypersexualization of society and in the complacency before all kinds of vices.
Leo XIII (Humanum Genus): Wherefore we see that men are publicly tempted by the many allurements of pleasure; that there are journals and pamphlets with neither moderation nor shame; that stage-plays are remarkable for license; that designs for works of art are shamelessly sought in the laws of a so called verism... And this is craftily done by those who, having cast away the yoke of religion, seek to make the people serve the caprice of their appetites and desires.
The clairvoyance of Humanum Genus is painful in its exactness. The attack on the family and education is not a "natural sociological evolution," it is a methodically executed project. By destroying marriage and corrupting children with godless education, they ensure that the next generation has no moral defenses to resist the final assault of the sect: totalitarian egalitarianism and the global dictatorship, which my colleague, Lic. Torres-Lozano, will unveil in the next installment.
